In recent years, Brindisi's port has been redeveloped, creating new docks and new room ashore to be used for freight and passengers. It serves destinations across Turkey and Greece, as well as destinations in the Adriatic.

The port offers limited facilities; however, the city of Brindisi has plenty of shops, eateries, and banks. Several ferry companies sail out of the port to various Adriatic destinations.


The town of Brindisi boasts several interesting attractions that are worth a visit, especially if you have time before catching a ferry.

Ferry Services

Crossings from Brindisi to Cephalonia are operated by Maritime My Way Ferries.

SNAV Aliscafi provides services from Brindisi to Paxi and Corfu in Greece. Fragline, Blue Star Ferries and Hellenic Mediterranean Lines also operate crossings to Corfu.

Numerous ferry companies connect Brindisi with Igoumenitsa (Greece).
The Greek island of Zante can be reached with Hellenic Mediterranean Lines.
Both Adriatica di Navigazione and Hellenic Mediterranean Lines run sailings to Patras.
