The town of Brindisi boasts several beauty spots, a cosmopolitan atmosphere and a lively nightlife. Several interesting attractions can be found in Brindisi all worthwhile a visit, especially if you have time before your ferry departs.

The surrounding area of Brindisi offers sufficient accommodation facilities as well. The Hotel Villaggio Carbrun in Carovigno is situated 26 km / 16 miles from Brindisi. For most however, Brindisi is merely a transit point for those travelling across the Ionian sea to Greece and can appear unappealing. Due to some late arrivals or early departures some travellers do stay here and the demand is sufficient to warrant some comfortable hotels. Some spare time to explore the city reveals more charm than the quayside would suggest.
